Hello, I'm Travis Frohlich.
Growing up in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA made it impossible to not fall in love with the outdoors. With a strong family history of racing bicycles and motorcycles, it was inevitable that I would one day find a passion for it as well. My love for two wheels came at a very young age and has brought so much joy to my life. On September 29, 2018 my life was forever changed when I suffered a life threatening motorcycle crash. I broke my left calcaneus, navicular, talus, a few metatarsals, big toe, I compound fractured my tibia and fibula, all while dislocating my ankle, stretching ligaments and damaging nerves. It’s a blessing that my leg is still attached and I can proudly say that I walked to my computer to write this. The surgeries and the trauma to my body have been nothing short of a nightmare, but my positivity and determination have me feeling stronger mentally and physically than ever before. My time in recovery allowed me to discover E-Mtn bikes and introduced me to a whole new world of opportunity. Although my time on a motorcycle is limited, these bikes bring the same joy of two wheels while providing the perfect amount of challenge and excitement. It was while out on an early morning ride that the idea of a pedal-assist E-Mtn bike ride company in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA came to mind. I caught myself smiling from ear to ear and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much my family and friends would love these bikes and the views that will never get old. I was also shocked that my ride distances had tripled from what they use to be, yet I was working just as hard. Right then and there I decided that I was going to start the first guided E-Mtn bike ride company in Santa Barbara. My passion for mountain biking has equipped me with the knowledge of every street, trail, bike path, bicycle shop, and biking community in Santa Barbara. Combined with the incredible geography of Santa Barbara this ride creates a unique mountain biking experience that is nothing short of amazing.
